Is there are charge to participate in The Big 'Feat' – The World’s Largest Shoe Drive?

There is not a required cash donation to participate. All we are seeking are NEW or LIKE NEW shoes, which will be donated to The Shoe Bank.

What kind of shoes are accepted?

Shoes must be in New or Like New condition. Sneakers are preferable. All Youth and adult sizes are needed. Unfortunately, no sandals, open-toed shoes, flip-flops or high heels can be accepted.

Are you taking other donation items besides shoes?

No, we are only taking shoes. Thanks for asking, though!

We have a large group that would like to gather donations (church, scouts, neighborhood, etc.). What do we need to do?

We have more than 100 shoes we would like to donate but need help transporting them to you. Is there a way you can pick them up?

Yes, if you have more than 100 pairs of shoes, we will gladly pick them. Please contact Amanda Robins for more information.

May we bring the entire family on Tuesday night to the circus celebration?

You sure may! Although shoe donation process is for 18-years of age and older, there will be other fun activities for Children of All Ages including performances by the world famous Ringling Bros. Clown Alley, face painting, circus games, and more.

What should I wear at the Tuesday circus celebration from 5pm-8pm?

Be sure you wear something cool and casual.

Where should we park?

There will be free parking at the Lexus Parking Garage, which is adjacent to the northeast corner of American Airlines Center at 2620 North Houston Street.

May I ride DART to the event?

Yes, please visit Dart Schedules to check schedules and routes.

May I bring my dog?

For safety concerns, pets will not be allowed.

Do you allow strollers and wagons on Tuesday night?

You may bring strollers and wagons and view the event from a designated location. Please note, though, that there will not be an area for you to park and leave them.

What happens if it rains?

This is Texas in the summertime! It won’t rain for months. Seriously, this event is a rain or shine event.
